Notice to members - Updated 15/10/2021

The following branch changes are in effect from Monday 18 October 2021 until further notice due to COVID-19 restrictions:

  • All branches will be open under temporarily reduced operating hours - 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday (Closed Saturday and Sunday).
  • Whilst Sutherland branch remains opened, there is limited building access for visitors. Members visiting the Sutherland branch are asked to postpone any non-essential transaction to avoid any delays.

The safety of members and staff is paramount and until the current COVID-19 health situation improves, it is not possible to keep these branches operating as normal. This is because we have employees that live within and outside of the impacted local government areas. We hope to re-open these branches as normal as soon as possible and we ask that members consider the following services while these operating changes are in place:

  • Call our contact centre for assistance on 13 61 91
  • Perform a transaction through our internet banking service available from our website www.sydneymutual.bank.
  • Access cash via EFTPOS (withdrawing funds free of charge by asking for ‘cash out’ when making a purchase at your local supermarket)
  • Access cash through an ATM (all non-direct charge ATM withdrawals are free of charge)
  • Use the Sydney Mutual Bank mobile app; or
  • Transact at an unaffected post office where you can perform four free deposits and/or withdrawals per month by presenting your card

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and we look forward to reopening these branches for normal trading as soon as possible.

For our branches that are operating in any capacity, visitor numbers will be strictly limited and all visitors must follow NSW Health guidelines and wear a face mask. Please remember to adhere to strict social distancing whilst within the branch and use the hand sanitiser provided. We are also asking members visiting branches to check-in via QR code to record their visit and allow contact tracing by NSW Health.
