Introducing our new brand: Australian Mutual Bank

As announced earlier this year via our Newsletter, the dual branding we have conducted since our merger with Endeavour Mutual Bank will cease and all members will be brought together under the Australian Mutual Bank brand.

Australian Mutual Bank’s brand mark and visual identity will be revealed in the last week of October, when we will roll out a new website, new Internet Banking, new mobile banking app, new cards and statements in the new brand Australian Mutual Bank.

It’s an exciting time with big improvements, especially in terms of the digital services we offer you. What will not change is the high level of service and the commitment we provide to our Members.

What will change?

Website and Internet Banking

Our website address will be www.australianmutual.bank. The website that is currently presented at www.australianmutual.bank will be refreshed to reflect the Australian Mutual Bank brand identity. The old website and Internet Banking at www.sydneymutual.bank will automatically redirect you to the new website and Internet Banking at www.australianmutual.bank.

The new Australian Mutual Bank Internet Banking interface will be mobile responsive, which means it will automatically adapt based on the size of screen they are presented on, making it easier for our members to use the Internet Banking service on mobile devices.

Mobile app

Our Sydney Mutual Bank mobile app will remain available until early next year, however, we encourage you to download the new Australian Mutual Bank app to enjoy the new experience. The new app will be available in the App Stores when the new brand is launched. Based on the feedback received from Members, the new app is introducing new features such as pending transactions, card activation, in-app password management, savings goal tracker as well as management of personal details.

To unify the mobile app experience for all our members, there will be a change to the way your account numbers will be displayed in the new Australian Mutual Bank mobile app.

Currently, your account identifier for each account is displayed as your member number followed by a letter and number which identifies the type of account e.g. 12345S1, 12345L1. In the new Australian Mutual Bank mobile banking app, the account identifier will be replaced with your account number which is a 9-digit number. This account number is the same number that is displayed in Internet Banking. For more details, please click here.

Digital Wallets

If you use digital wallets like Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay, a new Australian Mutual Bank card image will be updated into your wallet.

Changes to Disclosure Documents

From the last week of October there will be changes to our Disclosure Documents. To review, please visit the Disclosures section of the new website, call 13 61 91 or email us at info@australianmutual.bank.
