  Do I have to be a member to open an account?

  How do I manage my accounts?

You can manage your accounts and pay your bills electronically, through branch service, by cheque book - or any combination that suits you.

Our Internet Banking, mobile app and phone banking services give you access to your accounts around the clock, every day of the year. This includes:

  • Checking the balance of your accounts
  • Paying bills via BPAY
  • Transferring funds between your Sydney Mutual Bank accounts
  • Transferring funds to other financial institutions
  • Listing your cheque book transactions
  What fees are charged and how can I minimise them?

Our policy is simple - Low fees or no fees! We will show you how to manage your accounts with little or no fees. For example, we do not charge any fees, and we can show you how to manage your purchases and expenses without incurring fees

  How do I make deposits to my account?

You can arrange to make deposits to your Business Account either by Internet, mobile app or Phone Banking transfer, over the counter at any of our branches, or at any branch of the National Australia Bank with a specially encoded deposit book.

  What cheque book facility is available?

You receive a business-sized cheque book with a minimum of 25 cheques each. An automated ordering system ensures that new cheque books are sent to you well before the old ones run out. If you have a problem or query regarding a cheque, our Cheque View service enables you to view a scan of any cheque you write by 10:00 am the next business day

  How often will I receive information on my account?

Statements are issued at the beginning of each month. Duplicate statements can be requested at any time by contacting us. Account Balances and Statements are also available through our Phone and Internet Banking services.
